Walking in the park, after the latest heavy snow has all gone, I noticed that some of the trees had 'shadows' of twigs beneath them. I've not noticed this before, and I think it must be due to the weight of the snow on the smaller branches causing them to snap off, so a few weeks worth of naturally shed twigs all happen at the same time.

I went to London for the day. It rained a lot. This large puddle was on Oxford Street. I took this on my way from the Photographers Gallery to the tube station.

Recently painted yellow lines at the kerbside, this drain hole cover somehow escaped the masking process that kept all the others in the road paint free.
